Engineering Internship-
Entitled: Secure Data Transmission in Wireless Networks. Security
is a critical issue in many applications. In order to protect the security of
data, we propose a novel secure transmission strategy based on information
hiding (IH). In this design, we acquire sensitive information securely so as
to make use of the advantage of IH technique without encryption. Our approach
deal with the weakness of limitation in sensor node resources and the
security threats, it is suitable for stream data in sensor nodes. The simulation
experiments also demonstrate that this approach is effective in transmitting
sensitive data covertly with the characteristics of lower energy consumptions
and invisibility.
Academic Projects
Network Security Policy
Implementation for campus:
Worked as a Graduate Assistant for Electronics
& Communications Department, MJCET. A Network has designed
aligning to the network security policy requirements Outlined for the campus.
Vehicle communication using CAN
protocol:
Worked on a project called "Vehicle communication using CAN
protocol". Aim to meet the real time requirements of vehicle such
as engine speed, wheel speed, and throttle pedal location. Also
applied CAN bus to control locker, windows, mirrors and interior dome light.
Studied ARM architecture to use as main control module. Used Oscilloscope
as a monitor and OBD as a connector to study the communication. Flooding attack detection using anomaly
techinques with wireshark:
This project simulates a ping flood scenario by using the ping
command.Wireshark is installed and setup on the victim , which would be
used to analyse the number of ping packets received during specific duration
with reference to a threshold, based on which flooding attack is detected.
Near and Far Field Effects on Bit Error
Rate:
Impact of near and far fields on Bit Error rate, by calculating the Path
loss in the system under two different scenario of Near-Field and Far-Field
for two different modulation schemes.
RF Propagation Path Gain and Bit Error Rate in
Wireless
Communications:
Calculated the effects of Multi path in a Two-Ray Model on Bit Error Rate
considering the effect of ground reflections with the help of MATLAB and FEKO
and analyzing Okamura-Hata Model, Analytical Model and Lossy earth. Reliable and efficient remote
patient monitoring system: In this project, a real-time wireless health
monitoring system is developed. This system is used for remote
monitoring of patients heart rate, body temperature and saline level. The
system was designed and implemented using ZigBee wireless technologies. Internet usage control using
access control techniques: It was observed that the internet usage was very high
which created problems like slow internet Expensive internet bills . The
Network has been redesigned which would allow only browsing traffic and all
the other traffic bound to the internet should be blocked. Technical Skills:
